Thousands of 'Penis Fish' Washed Up on a Beach in Northern California

Thousands of 'Penis Fish' washed ashore Drake's Beach in Northern California last week.

These strange fish are called Innkeeper worms, otherwise known as the 'Penis Fish.'

According to Fox News, "In an article, Bay Nature magazine explained that the pulsating 10-inch worms may have been washed up by a strong storm that disrupted sediments in the intertidal zone."

These worms are long, fat, pinkish, and very plump.

Their shape is very familiar to male genitalia, which is why the internet freaked out when thousands of them washed up on the beach.
