Thirteen thousand families are expected to come to Metropolitan Ministries for Thanksgiving, and not enough donations have come in yet to serve them all.
Metropolitan Ministries is calling on the community for Holiday Tent Donations so that they can serve all the families this holiday season.
Only 15 donations have come to the main tent so far in the past 11 days.
This week alone, 1,100 food boxes are needed to be shipped out of the main Tampa tent to satellite locations in Pinellas and Pasco counties.

Donate to the holiday tent so that Metropolitan Ministries can give those in need a Thanksgiving.
WHAT: The holiday tent opened for donations on November 1st—launching the 37th annual HOPE campaign—a holiday assistance outreach program serving families in need in Tampa Bay.
MOST NEEDED ITEMS: 13,000 frozen turkeys, canned yams, canned vegetables, stuffing, potatoes, rice, beans, cereal, and gravy.
DONATION DROP OFF HOURS: 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., and starting Nov. 21st, open until 6:30 p.m.
