Sarah Combs, CEO of University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation), joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the University Area CDC presents the Eighth Annual Gala: A Masquerade Affair on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the University Area Community Center at 14013 N. 22nd St. in Tampa.
This year’s event will have a Great Gatsby and roaring 20s theme and will include an art gallery, catered culinary stations, live entertainment, dancing, silent auction, martini bar, dessert bar and a VIP speakeasy reception.
The University Area CDC is celebrating more than 20 years of serving the community and has offered support for thousands of Tampa residents through youth programs, adult education and resource assistance.
