Teresa Miller, Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance (HCADA), joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss DEA Drug Take Back Day and Red Ribbon Week.
Red Ribbon Week kicks off next Monday October 23 and go through the 31st and is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program.
Millions of people celebrate Red Ribbon Week by wearing red ribbons, participating in community anti-drug events, and pledging to live drug-free lives.
This week also includes the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day which is on Saturday, the 26th.
