Beth Alden, MPO Executive Director of Plan Hillsborough, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the new plan for Malfunction Junction.
The Florida Department of Transportation has picked a plan for Tampa’s downtown interchange.
The plan will add lanes, widen exists and reduce merge points in Malfunction Junction.
It's expected to cost around $175 million and would be built in stages over the next five years.
