Greg Champlin, Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the Department of Health Hillsborough County offers free chronic disease prevention programs throughout the county.
- Insurance is not required
- The Department of Health offers classes for diabetes self-management, blood pressure management, pre-diabetes management, general wellness, children’s nutrition, and corporate wellness programs
- Classes are are held once per week for 1-1.5 hours
