The public is invited to attend a Sarasota veteran's funeral who has no immediate family.
Edward K. Pearson passed away about a month ago and was 80 years old.
In his obituary in the paper stated that he had no family, so a Florida Funeral home wanted to get the word out to have people attend.
If you want to attend the public service it will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 12:30 p.m. at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
