Bathing In Cheese

Calling all cheese lovers- you can now take a bath in your favorite dairy treat.

A local cheesemaker named Salmi Tongi in Engelberg, Switzerland uses leftover whey (a by-product of cheese) from the four kinds of cheeses he produces in an outdoor bathtub.

Tongi offers visitors to sit in a wooden tub filled with whey overlooking the fields of Alpkäserei Gerschnialp.

The 'Cheese Bath' dates back to the 1800s in Switzerland, and many think if one soak in the tub, there will be significant health benefits.

Whey is supposed to be good for the skin, mind, and nerves.
