About Shawn Boutot
Shawn Boutot served as a Special Agent for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) up until May, 2014. Duties included investigating money laundering, commercial fraud, narcotic smuggling, worksite enforcement, child pornography, and covert and overt cyber intellectual property rights. Shawn is a graduate of the elite Federal Law Enforcement Academy located in Brunswick, Georgia.
Shawn was assigned to the United Nations General Assembly in New York City in 2009 and 2012. He assisted the Secret Service with Presidential and Diplomatic Protection.
With all his knowledge and training, Shawn’s passion and vision was to develop a professional security firm, which would serve and protect clients by taking a proactive approach, not a reactive approach, towards security.
Shawn followed through on his dream in 2014 and developed TBVSS. TBVSS is a full-service security firm, which takes a proactive approach to security. Shawn is also the owner and founder of Alaris Threat Mitigation Consultants, which focuses on Workplace Violence and Active Shooter Awareness. Shawn was the case agent on the mass shooting, Apr. 3, 2009, where 14 people were killed in Binghamton, N.Y.
Shawn is a Tampa Bay resident with his wife and son.
