An Evening In White Gala Raises Critical Funds For Alzheimer's Research

On April 13th The Alzheimer’s Association hosted the event An Evening in White.

The charity benefit was a white attired theme at The Vault in Tampa.

The event had food, cocktails and jazz music along with a chance for the guest to network.

Ashley Barnett chaired the charity benefit and emceed by a former NBC news anchor Gayle Sierens.

The gala also had a research update from Dr. Susan Steen of Tampa Neurology Associates and a presentation of the Alzheimer's Association International Research Grant award that went to Dr. Feng Cheng of the University of South Florida in Tampa.

There was an auction and the first time gala raised over $170,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The funds that were raised are critical to advancing research and providing support to families living with Alzheimer’s.
