Heavily Inked Man Busted for Cold Case Murder in New Port Richey

NEW PORT RICHEY (WFLA News) -- A man who just got out of federal prison is facing charges in a murder case that dates back to 2001.

New Port Richey police picked up 51 year old Randy Petersilge (rhymes bilge) as soon as he got out of the Coleman federal prison in Sumter County Friday. He had just finished a sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Detectives reopened the case two years ago and a grand jury returned an indictment last year. 41 year old Simon Clark was found beaten to death at a site where a home was under construction on November 28, 2001.
