What Is The Worst City In Florida To Drive In?

Driving in Florida can be frustrating some days, and I'm sure some would argue that their area is worse than another.

But according to the article "Worst Cities to Drive in Every State” by 24/7 Wall St. Ocala was ranked the worst city to drive in Florida.

24/7 Wall St. accounted for several different driving related measures to find the worst metropolitan statistical areas to drive in each state.

The components that went into factoring it included commute time, gas prices, and accident rates, convenience, and cost of driving.

Here are the Stats: Florida: Ocala

  • Traffic fatalities per 100,000 people: 25.4 (state: 14.8)
  • Avg. commute time: 25.4 min. (state: 27.8 min.)
  • Commuters driving to work: 90.0% (state: 88.4%)
  • 2017 car thefts per 100,000 people: 224.6
