A helicopter encountering engine problems crashed onto 50th street near Palm River Road Thursday afternoon. The Florida Highway Patrol says the rotor blades on the chopper hit a pickup truck in traffic, killing a passenger in that truck. Two occupants and the truck driver were not hurt.
