Bartow, Fla.-(NewsRadio WFLA)-The Polk County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation after a mobile home fire claimed the lives of an elderly couple.
Polk County Fire and Rescue was called to the home in the 4600 block of Fighter Road, between Bomber Road and U.S. Highway 17 around 345 Friday morning.
The names of the victims have not been released and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
