Robert Kraft Pleads Not Guilty on Spa Sex Charges

WEST PALM BEACH (WFLA News) -- New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft enters a not guilty plea to charges that he paid for sex acts at a day spa in Jupiter. His lawyers are waiving arraignment and asking for a jury trial.

Kraft is accused of soliciting and paying for sex acts on two occasions as part of an ongoing sting operation targeting Asian day spas and human trafficking.

Meantime, the state House Criminal Justice committee has approved a bill that would impose a minimum 10 day jail sentence on anyone convicted of soliciting a prostitute. That goes up to 30 days if the prostitute is a victim of human trafficking, whether the john knows it or not.
