Body Discovered in Tampa That of Woman Missing Since January

Tampa, Fla. (Newsradio WFLA) - A body recovered Friday was that of a woman who had disappeared early this year, Tampa police said. The medical examiner's office confirmed the identification of Deborah Saucier Monday. The ID ends the search that had continued for more than two months. Saucier's body turned up at a water taxi dock on the Hillsborough River Friday. Detectives still don't know how Saucier ended up in the water. There are no signs of foul play, TPD said in a news release.

Saucier's family last saw her leaving her home January 8. Surveillance video showed her at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino that day. Her vehicle was found near Julian B. Lane Park on North Boulevard. She was considered missing and endangered because she had health conditions that required medication.
