Tampa,Fla.(NewsRadio WFLA)-The Florida Highway Patrol says 39 year old Jonathan Thompson of Fort Lauderdale was driving a pick-up truck east on I-4, when Andy Sanford on a Harley Davidson attempted to pass him, but instead crashed into the back of the truck, killing the 23 year old Brandon man.
Thompson didn't stop, the highway patrol says he was heading south on I-75 when trooper's stopped and placed him under arrest.
Thompson is charged with leaving the scene of the crash, driving while license suspended and DUI.
