Hudson, Fla. (Newsradio WFLA) - A man died after he walked into traffic on State Road 52 early Sunday and three cars struck him, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Jay Howard Kimmel, 59, walked northbound across SR-52 east of Choctaw Trail at about 12:30 a.m. when three vehicles in succession hit him, according to a crash report from the FHP. He died at the scene. Troopers did not cite any of the drivers and say none faces charges.
