Pinellas Park, Fla. (Newsradio WFLA) - A collision between a car and bicycle early Saturday killed the woman riding the bike, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Samantha Bilbrey, 28, rode through a red crosswalk signal into the intersection of 49th St. North and 54th Ave. North at about 12:40 a.m., and into the path of a car driven by Daniel DaGesse, 22, according to the FHP crash report. DeGesse's car struck Bilbrey's bike and she suffered fatal injuries at the scene, troopers said. DaGesse faces no charges.
