Lakeland, Fla.-(Newsradio WFLA)- Polk County deputies have arrested a man for 200 counts of possession of child pornography after finding graphic images on his cell phone.
Investigators say 41 year-old Larry Meggers had been staying in a house in Lakeland with a family he'd met through a church program. The family also gave Meggers an older cell phone they were no longer using.
Deputies say when the family asked Meggers to return the phone, they discovered images of children being sexually abused. Investigators then found more than 500 pornographic images and videos on the phone that show young children exposing themselves or being sexually battered.
