Davenport, Fla.-(Newsradio WFLA)-A counselor from Ridge High School here is in trouble for tangling with deputies who were trying to conduct a investigation of a fight between two students.
Investigators say 39 year-old Marcus Franklin of Orlando inserted himself into the law enforcement probe and then grabbed and shoved the deputies. Deputies say Franklin told deputies they could not arrest the suspects because the detectives were not in uniform..
Franklin is officially charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.
