Wesley Chapel, Fla. (NewsRadio WFLA) -Pasco Fire and Rescue crews responded Ā to reports Ā of smoke in Wesley Chapel High School around 10am. Ā
According to Corey Dierdorff the Public Information Officer for Pasco County Fire Rescue, all students were evacuated. Ā There was heavy smoke in the band room. Ā Ā It appears the smoke was caused by a faulty heat strip in the school.Ā
The school was cleared of smoke, and the students are currently in the media center. No injuries reported.
