Driver Charged With DUI After Crashing Into Undercover Deputies Car

St. Petersburg, Fla. (NewsRadio WFLA)-An undercover deputy for the Pinellas Sheriff's Office suffered minor injuries after his car was  t-boned by a drunk driver at 37th Street South and 11th Ave. St Petersburg  Police say it happened just before midnight.   

Witnesses told police the driver, 34-year-old Derrick Taylor was speeding when he ran through the stop sign and t-boned the deputies car. 

Taylor  also suffered minor injuries, he  was arrested and charged with DUI with property damage/personal injury. Taylor was also cited for not wearing a seatbelt and failing to stop at a stop sign.
