Land O'Lakes,Fla.(NewsRadio WFLA)- A deadly shooting in Pasco County appears to be a case of road rage. It happened last night in Land O'Lakes at S.R. 54 and U.S. 41.
Deputies say after a two-car crash, one of the drivers ran away, and the other driver shot him. Scott Bartolotti was taken to the hospital, where the 38-year-old passed away.
The sheriff's office has not released the name of the shooter.
"We are still working through this investigation and trying to find out what initiated this road rage incident to result in the gunfire. That part is still under investigation, but we can confirm it was road rage and the scene is secured. There is no need for any public concern or anything like that," "At this moment we don't have any indication that these two knew each other but again, still under investigation." Lt.
