Lealman, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A man died in a crash Saturday that he caused by running a red light, the Florida Highway Patrol said. John Burdette, 69, drove into the intersection of 49th St. North and 46th Ave. North through a red light at about 2:30 p.m. and struck a pickup truck driven by 56-year-old Cathy Shea, according to a crash report from the FHP. Burdette did not have his seat belt on and died later at a hospital. Shea was not hurt.
