Search Continues for Tampa Murder Suspect

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The search is on for a murder suspect Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives say is "armed and dangerous" following a deadly New Year's Eve shooting on Nebraska Avenue.

26-year-old Joseph Ervin Brown is now wanted for first degree murder in the shooting death of 24-year-old Isaiah Lee Morrison.  Brown was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls shirt and black pants.  A recent photo of Brown provided by the Sheriff's Office is posted below.

Morrison was found with a gun shot wound around 12:30pm Monday near Fletcher and Nebraska Avenues.

He was taken to Tampa General where he died from his injuries.

Detectives are warning anyone who may see or have contact with Brown to immediately call 911 and not approach him.
