Polk County, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Polk County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the death of a pedestrian hit by a train near Combee Road and Highway 92.
The fatal crash has also caused several railroad crossings to be shut down in the area as the investigation continues.
Crossings at Fairway Avenue, Combee Road, Fish Hatchery Road and Reynolds road will remain closed for several hours according to the Sheriff's Office.
