Clearwater,Fla.(970 WFLA)-A Clearwater man whose drivers license was already permanently revoked is in custody after allegedly causing four crashes along U.S. 19. The man ping-ponged from one car to the next in a pickup truck.
Clearwater Police say 52 year old Jason Mizerski crashed into a car near Gulf To Bay Boulevard, he hit another car, between Gulf To Bay and Drew Street. Mizerski slammed into another car at State Road 590, left the scene, then crashed again north of 590.
Police say he was not responding to investigators, who suspect he was under the influence of drugs. Mizerski's facing 14 new charges including 12 felonies.
Two people were taken to local hospitals, for evaluation.
