Bradenton, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A motorcyclist died after losing control of his bike in a residential neighborhood Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Peter Nicholas Peltier, 37, failed to negotiate a curve on Charleston Street near Ashley Circle at about 10:45 p.m. and his Harley Davidson went onto its side and struck a curb. The impact threw Peltier off the bike. He died from his injuries. The FHP in a news release said it is "pending" whether alcohol played a role in the crash.
