Bradenton, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A construction worker is dead in the downtown area after a crane collapsed on the man at the Twin Dolphin Marina. Police have identified the victim as 47 year-old Chadwick A. Brown of Pinellas County.
Nearby police officers and bystanders rushed in to help when the large crane went down on top of Brown. Brown was freed from the crane, but paramedics could not revive the man.
The cause of the collapse remains under investigation.
