The 49 year old woman was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and DUI.
Hilsborough deputies say Colon's Jeep struck another car on Gunn Highway Sunday night around 9... and kept going until the front axle snapped near North Mobley Road. The other driver, Brooke Morgan, 21, swerved to avoid a crash but her Nissan was struck on the passenger side.
Deputies say she smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, and couldn't stand up. They say she refused to provide breath samples.
