Saint Petersburg, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Saint Pete Fire-Rescue says a small plane has crashed into the water off Albert Whitted Airport.
Word is that the plane was attempting a landing, but overshot the runway and ended-up in the water.
The U.S. Coast Guard, with help from some good Samaritans, rescued all the people who were on board the aircraft. Some of those people are being treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
