Search for Driver Who Crashed into Tampa House

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Detectives search for the driver blamed for a crash into a house Saturday that left a woman inside critically injured. 

A Chevy Silverado rammed into the home on Pepperfield Drive at about 6:30 p.m. The pickup trick pinned a 71-year-old woman who was sitting on her couch. It took responders from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue 30 minutes to free the woman, according to a news release from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. She was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in critical condition. The man driving the truck ran away, the release said. 

According to the news release, "detectives believe that Robert Deveon Siders III, 30, might have more information about the crash." They ask anyone who knows where he might be to call the sheriff's office at (813) 247-8200.
