Sarasota, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A woman died after crashing her motorcycle Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Patricia A. Benavides, 54, of Oak Creek, WI lost control rounding a curve on Crestwood Rd. east of the intersection with Pine Street just after 11:30 p.m., according to a news release from the FHP.
Benavides fell off the bike and landed face down in the road. She did not have on a helmet. Tests will show whether alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
