Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-Republican Rick Scott declared victory while democratic incumbent Bill Nelson's campaign says the race for Florida's U.S. Senate seat might not be over.
With 100-percent of the vote now in, Scott's lead is down to less than 35,000 votes out of more than eight-million cast. That would put the race within the half-percent threshold that would trigger an automatic recount.
Nelson issued a brief statement this morning.."We are proceeding to a recount".
