Voting rights for felons has been approved

The Florida amendment that proposed restoring voting rights for felons has been approved by voters.  The amendment will automatically restore the right to vote for people with prior felony convictions, except for those convicted of murder or a felony sexual offense.  Upon completing their sentencing, including prison, parole and probation, those individuals will regain their right to vote.
