It's far from a blue wave in the sunshine state

It's far from a blue wave in the sunshine state as the GOP managed to hold on to four key seats so far in the House of Representatives, dampening democratic hopes for the election there.  Republican incumbents Michael Waltz, Vern Buchanan, Brian Mast and Mario Diaz-Balart fended off democratic challengers.  Democrats did managed to flip the 27th district in Miami-Dade County, with Democrat Donna Shalala defeated her Republican opponent Elvira Salazar to replace the retiring republican Ileana Ros-Lehtnen.  A couple of other races for the house remain too close to call.
