St. Petersburg, Fla. (970 WFLA)- All northbound lanes of I-275 have re-opened on the Howard Frankland Bridge, after an alleged intoxicated wrong way driver slammed head on into another car, near mile marker 34. According to the highway patrol 25 year old Andy Cuff Jr. of St. Petersburg was heading south in the north bound lane and collided with a car driven by 24 year old Andrea Rush of Tampa. She's in critical condition at St. Josephs Hospital.
Cuff suffered serious injuries, but has been discharged from the hospital, and arrested by FHP troopers for DUI-Serious Injury and driving in the wrong direction.
