It's Now Five Children And Two Adults Hit By Car

Tampa,Fla. (Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Five children and two adults have been injured after a single car crash at East Bougainvillea Avenue and Marvy Avenue.   

All were waiting for a school bus when a car hit them.  Witnesses say the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the group.

Police have identified the injured children as 6 year-old Alexandra Torres-Banegas, 6 year-old Allinson Galindo, 12 year-old Perla Galindo, 9 year-old Sandy Quintana and 6 year-old Enrique Tobias Patino.

The adults injured have been identified as 31 year-old Yanely Jurado and 32 year-old Laura Patino Chavez.  

The driver of the car involved, 47 year-old Brian Darnell West, has not been charged as the crash remains under investigation.  Tampa Police say the crash did not appear to be intentional and it does not appear that the driver was impaired.
