Lakeland, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A 56 year-old Bartow man has gone bust for trying to get another man to have sex inside Saddle Creek Park.
Investigators say Ronald Skroback started a conversation with another man in the park. While the two were talking, Skroback started cleaning out the back of his van and then invited the man inside to have sex.
That other man turned out to be a Polk County undercover detective. The detective says Skroback exposed himself during the incident. Skroback was then arrested and charged with committing a lewd act and with indecent exposure.
Sheriff Grady Judd says "these parks are meant for children and families to enjoy." Judd also says his deputies will continue conducting these investigations to keep people who want to violate the law away from the parks.
