Clearwater, Fla.(970 WFLA)-A Clearwater Police Officer is under arrest, charged with domestic battery after an argument with his girlfriend grew violent.
The police report says Christopher England is also charged with tampering after he tried to keep his girlfriend from calling 911 on her cellphone.
England has been with the Clearwater Police Department for five years. He's on administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation.
