Ybor restaurant worker tests positive for Hepatitis A

Hamburger Mary's Bar and Grille on 8th Avenue in Ybor city has been closed by the Hillsborough Health Department after a worker tested positive for Hepatitis A, the contagious virus that affects the liver .

The health department cautions that anyone who has frequented Hamburger Mary's between October 4th and the 20th and has not been vaccinated should do so now.

Hepatitis A seems to be on the rise in the Bay Area.  Earlier this week, the Pinellas County Health Department reported an increase in cases.  Both counties are offering free Hepatitis A vaccines.

Symptoms include jaundice, diarrhea, fatigue and fever.
