Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A late night fire broke out at a Tampa Yacht and Country Club maintenance building forcing the evacuation of more than two dozen horses in a nearby stable.
Firefighters responded to the club around 10:20PM Thursday night as flames tore through the entire roof of the newly built maintenance building.
People that were at the club were able to move 27 horses to safety from a stable next to the maintenance building.
No one was injured during the incident and firefighters were able to get the fire under control in 25 minutes, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation by the fire marshal.
