Myakka City, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Manatee County Sheriff's Deputies are on scene of the crash of a single-engine airplane off Rocky Creek Road here.
The pilot is reported to have walked away from the downed aircraft, but he does have some non-life threatening injuries.
First responders say there was no fire associated with the crash. There were no injuries reported on the ground.
The FAA and NTSB are expected on-scene to investigate.
