Kirk Set To Move Through The Lesser Antilles

Tropical Storm Kirk

Miami, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center continue to track Tropical Storm Kirk as the system is about to move through the Lesser Antilles.  

Top sustained winds with Kirk are at 50 MPH as he moves toward the WNW at 14 MPH.  Latest position for Kirk is less than 80 miles ESE of Martinique.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for...
* Barbados
* St. Lucia
* Dominica
* Martinique
* Guadeloupe

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for...
* St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Interests elsewhere in the central and northern Lesser Antilles
should monitor the progress of Kirk.

Kirk is no threat to Florida at this time.
