Kirk Is A Tropical Storm Again

Miami, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-What was a storm and then a depression is now back to Tropical Storm Kirk.

The latest public advisory from the National Hurricane Center has Kirk less than 300 miles east of Barbados.  Top sustained winds with Kirk are at 60 as he moves toward the west at a rapid 18 miles per hour.

There are some watches and warnings up for Kirk.....

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for...
* Barbados
* St. Lucia
* Dominica
* Martinique
* Guadeloupe

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for...
* St. Vincent and the Grenadines

The good news for Florida is that Kirk is expected to be ripped apart by strong winds once the storm gets into the Caribbean.
