Longboat Key, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-The no swimming advisory for Longboat Key Beach has been lifted.
The Sarasota County Health Department's Steve Huard says the very latest testing results are at a satisfactory level that meets both the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state recreational water standards.
The "No Swim" advisory signs are coming down, but the red tide advisory signage off the coastline will remain in place until conditions improve.
The health department expects to have the next round of test results available on Tuesday, September 25th.
