Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-Tampa Police are working with the Clearwater Police Department with traffic control at the scene of a fatality traffic crash on the Pinellas County side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway.
A motorcycle collided with a car, the motorcyclist was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital where he died from his injuries.
All westbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway are closed just west of Rocky Point Drive near the entrance to Ben T. Davis Beach. Traffic is being u-turned into the eastbound lanes.
Police report the west bound lanes should re-open as soon as the investigation by Clearwater Police Department wraps up.
