Wesley Chapel, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The Florida Highway Patrol says it has discovered home security video that might yield clues about a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist Wednesday night.
Hans Mentor, 48, of Wesley Chapel died when a vehicle rear-ended his bike on Boyette Rd., north of Vienna Woods Ln. at about 10:40 p.m. that night, the FHP said. It says that it home security video in the area "is currently being evaluated."
It asks others who live in the area who might have information that could help troopers find the driver responsible to contact the FHP by calling 813-558-1800 or *FHP (*347) on their cell phones. Those with information about the vehicle or driver may also contact Crime Stoppers by calling 800 -873-TIPS or submit their tips online at CrimeStoppersTB.com.
