Spring Hill, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Several deputies complained of feeling light headed after entering a Spring Hill home, while attempting to serve a felony warrant.
According to the sheriff's office report, two people who answered the door, gave the deputies permission to go inside the home in the 7000 block of Holiday Drive in Spring Hill.
Once inside, deputies were exposed to an unknown substance in the air and immediately left the house. The person they were looking for was not there.
Hernando County Fire Rescue personnel treated all five deputies at the scene. EMS also treated the two individuals found inside the house who were experiencing similar symptoms.
The Hernando County HAZMAT Team was called in to evaluate the scene and identify the unknown substance.
The investigation continues.
